What the Grievance Officer Handles
You may write to the Grievance Officer regarding:
- Consumer complaints under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 — including grievances about your subscription, billing, service delivery, or account actions.
- Requests under the DPDP Act 2023 — including access, correction, erasure, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and nomination of another person to exercise your rights.
- Concerns about data privacy, security, or the handling of your personal information.
- Complaints about HarplixAI's compliance with applicable Indian law.
For general product support, billing queries, refund requests, or account questions, please use support@harplixai.com instead — those queries are not grievances and are handled through our regular support channel. See our Contact page for details.
Response Timelines
- Acknowledgement: within 48 hours of receipt
- Resolution: within one month (30 days) of receipt
These timelines follow the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 (acknowledgement within 48 hours; redressal within one month of receipt).
How to File a Grievance
To file a grievance, email grievance@harplixai.com with the following details:
- Your registered email address with HarplixAI (if applicable)
- A clear description of your grievance
- Any supporting information, screenshots, or transaction references (e.g. Razorpay payment ID, beginning with rzp_pay_)
- The outcome you are seeking
You will receive an acknowledgement with a reference number within 48 hours.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the response from our Grievance Officer, you may:
- For consumer grievances, contact the National Consumer Helpline (dial 1915 or visit consumerhelpline.gov.in), file on the e-Daakhil portal, or approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- For data-protection grievances, lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act, 2023.
